This Choice Board is a great example of my philosophy and my work. The students have a choice of what they want to learn about but also how they want to present it. The presentation options have a great range, but not all involve technology. When it does it is truly enhancing the experience rather than just technology being thrown in there. It allows students to be creative and really grasp the material. The videos can also be given through EdPuzzle to the students who are forced to interact and I know that they are engaged.

Uploading a rubric and or checklist to a Google Classroom will be a common practice I will use. It allows students to know exactly what is expected and what they should be doing. It does not necessarily need to be on tech, but it will allow students to stay organized and have it available at all times.

It may seem silly to have standard operating procedures in an infographic for high school students. I do this that having a silly presentation for my students of what I expect will allow them to see it and refer back when they aren’t following it. I could be sent to parents as well so they too are aware of the expectations.
